On Wednesday, May 25, 2011, we were privileged to go to Joplin, MO to help with the relief effort caused by the F4/F5 tornadoes that devastated 30% of the city. We were able to partner with Summit Christian Academy and bring three 16’ trailers and one 26’ truck filled with supplies. And why? In spite of the devastation, the outpouring of love, care, and compassion shows that we can live for others and not merely ourselves. We can be a community that offers love, hope, acceptance, and grace.
